Multimedia Editor 

Part-Time Hourly (10-15hrs/week avg)
Compensation: $15-20/hr (depending on experience)
Location: Burlington, Vermont — Remote considered

The Multimedia Editor will be responsible for creating, developing and producing short and medium format informational and adset videos filmed at our in-house studio in Burlington, VT. You will be working directly with the Renoun Brand Manager to strategize based on provided content, but edit independently. We’re looking for a candidate who understands skiing, works quickly and has a keen eye for creating engaging content with pre-existing media. All assets you will be creating are either informational ski videos or ads for social media and NOT cliff-dropping, heli skiing, neck-deep-pow banger shots.

Responsibilities:  

• Working with Brand Manager to create and/or review media goals for Renoun
• Organizing raw footage and creating selects from pre-existing footage
• Creating timelines and editing multiple videos each week ranging from 5 seconds to 3 minutes
• Must be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and be receptive to feedback
• Ensure consistent brand integrity and visual language across assets
• Creatively implement graphics, artwork, and/or voice overs into videos
• Adding color and audio balancing to finished assets
• Exporting videos in multiple formats
• VFX skills a bonus

• Passion for skiing and/or outdoor sports
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere etc.)
• Passionate about multi-media work and the ability to create new media with existing footage
• 1+ year in video production (personal projects may count for this) 
• Strong communication skills and ability to describe 
• Ability to work independently with guidance from a supervisor
• Ability to take weekly check-in calls (pre-scheduled in person or online)
