Social Media Intern

Part-Time Hourly (5-8 hours/week avg)
Compensation: $15/hr
Location: Remote

The Social Media Intern will be responsible for creating and implementing social assets for the Renoun brand. You will have direct input into the social media creative outlook of the Renoun brand and will be working alongside the Marketing Manger to create a strategy before independently executing on objectives. Strong understanding of social media trends and ability to work independently are vital to a success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the Marketing Manager to build social media strategy for 2022/23 season
• Selecting and editing photos (may include the use of Photoshop/Lightroom)
• Using creative copy to engage with the brand's audience on a variety of platforms
• Scheduling posts using the social media planning software ‘Later’

• Passion for skiing and/or outdoor sports
• Proficiency with social media best use and practices
• Motivated self-starter with keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite products
• Excellent writing skills, punctuation and proofreading skills
• Comfort working independently while also receiving some hands-on guidance from the Marketing Manager
• Ability to take weekly check in calls (pre-scheduled)
