RENOUN founder Cyrus Schenck was $30,000 richer Thursday night after winning this year's LaunchVT competition for Vermont startups.
The pitch competition was held at Main Street Landing on Burlington's waterfront.
Schenck's skis, set to launch in earnest this fall, utilize so-called Non-Newtonian material, which allow them to instantly change their characteristics to suit conditions. The material, which resembles Silly Putty, does not react to stress like most materials. Read Story Online >
