1. Measure
To know where to go next, you have to know where you stand now. We’re taking an honest look at our full carbon footprint and creating estimates across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
And it’s time to come clean. Ski manufacturing has a real footprint, and we’re doing something to reduce ours.
Renoun was the first and is the only ski company to become carbon neutral with The Change Climate Project. We’re continuing to make improvements to our manufacturing processes and reduce emissions that occur via shipping, packaging and sourcing. In the meantime, we offset every single pair of Renoun skis. Yep. All of them.
We know offsets alone aren’t the answer. That’s why we’re focused on real emissions reductions through better materials, cleaner energy, and smarter production.

Offsets aren’t the finish line, they’re a leg of the journey. With every pair of skis, we fund carbon credits for the emissions tied to that ski. They’re the bridge to neutrality while we do the harder work of reducing emissions at the source.
We don’t grade our own homework. Renoun works with The Change Climate Project to measure our footprint and confirm our offsets meet their requirements. We take third-party accountability seriously, so our badges have accountability behind the claim.
Here’s where we’re swinging big. We're committed to finding better materials, smarter sourcing, cleaner energy where we can, and less waste in packaging and shipping.
Renoun renewed our Climate Label Certification in December 2025.
Every ski is destined for the landfill. As skiers, we all have the opportunity to make conscious decisions to get the most out of the products we choose to buy. We’ve committed to offsetting our carbon footprint and here’s what you can do to help:
If you do buy new skis, up-cycle and get $100 in Renoun credit (yes, it’s a bribe). Send us your old ones, and we’ll give them to someone else to be re-used to avoid adding to the landfill.
From your food to your car to your skis, you choose who you want to represent. While the ski industry is making strides toward environmental responsibility, Renoun is the only ski brand that is Climate Label Certified.
