What does WTR mean? - This "Walk To Ride” (WTR) is a fancy way of saying these bindings work with every alpine boot in the world. The WTR version of the binding is simply a feature that enables the height of the surface that the toe of your boot sits on to be lowered or raised. Enables the binding to accept "Walk To Ride" (WTR) boots OR standard boots.

In general, the Marker Griffon 13 bindings are perfect for all but the most aggressive skiers. They're great for cruising groomers, zipping a bump line and trees and bowls. If you're an aggressive skier and find your feet are leaving the ground on any given run (on purpose!) then take a look at the Pivot 14.

Bindings are a personal choice (just like skis) so if you have another preference, you should go for it. Getting a more "advanced" binding never hurts, they just weigh a little more.
