Last week, Renoun hosted its first-ever ski excursion, a cat-skiing experience deep in the heart of Colorado’s Elk Mountains.

Designed to bring together ski enthusiasts and brand supporters, the trip combined world-class cat-skiing with fine lodging and dining, all set against the backdrop of Crested Butte.

More than a dozen customers attended the trip, joining members of the Renoun team, as well as Renoun athlete, Thor Retzlaff.

The Experience: Powder, Progress, Partnership

The adventure kicked off with a private cat-skiing excursion, giving Renoun customers a firsthand experience of the terrain Renoun’s skis are built for. With fresh powder underfoot and an expert guiding crew leading the way, the group explored untouched lines and put Renoun’s innovative ski technology to the test in real conditions.

Beyond skiing, the event provided space for Renoun’s community to connect, share insights, and learn more about Renoun’s vision. The trip included fireside discussions about the brand’s growth strategy, product evolution, and market positioning. Founder Cyrus Schenck, who attended the weekend-long event, shared his perspective on the company’s trajectory, emphasizing Renoun’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of ski design while staying true to its independent roots.

Key Takeaways: Strength in Community

One of the most valuable aspects of the trip was the sense of community that emerged and strengthened over the course of the week. Renoun customers gained a deeper appreciation for Renoun’s performance-driven innovation and forged stronger connections with each other. The event highlighted the importance of shared experiences in building long-term brand advocacy and strengthening the Renoun network.

This inaugural event was a milestone for Renoun, not just as a celebration of the brand’s progress, but as a stepping stone toward future opportunities. Hosting in-person events allows Renoun to be more connected to its customers, the community, and ski industry at large.

Looking Ahead

What’s next? On the heels of such a fun, successful event, Renoun is exploring opportunities for future gatherings, reinforcing our commitment to bringing together the community that fuels our brand. Whether on the slopes or beyond, we’re excited to continue shaping the future of skiing together.

To those who joined us in Crested Butte: thank you. Your support and enthusiasm drive us forward, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
