    Atlas

I am very happy with my decision to buy the atlas. It has the edge grip of a full on race ski but is much lighter. Skiing in the northeast makes this ski shine. It can be a bit anxious in crud but bought the endurance to address that. Still haven’t mounted the endurance yet.

Atlas has great grip and much quicker if needed then anticipated.

    Atlas 88

These ski’s performed as expected, stable at higher speeds and in choppy conditions. I mounted as the direction s , but wish the option was available on directions and marked on ski’s to locate bindings back a bit. But overall my season was wonderful.

    Wonderful Skis - Lousy Ending

On Tuesday 10 March I used the Atlas 80’s for the first time. The Vibe Stop provided a smooth ride and the skis gripped really well. A fine day of skiing came to an abrupt end (pun intended) when my left ski hit a patch of ice and my right ski hit a pile of soft snow. A yard sale wreck ended with severe knee pain and after a trip to the hospital I was diagnosed with a displaced tibial plateau fracture!

Great Skis, Best I Have had in a long time.

With the terrible snow conditions thus far this ski season in the west, my time has been limited to 3 days so far, but those three days were phenomenal! It always takes a day or two to get new equipment "dialed" in for me.

I have been on Elan Wingman 86 for the last two seasons; I took them with me the first day on the new Atlas 80"s . I quickly got "in the groove" with the Atlas 80's, and they are every bit the great experience I was hoping for! Needless to say, with the present conditions, "ice cube", the Atlas 80's held great edge control on the ice. A zillion years ago, I had a pair of Head Killy 800 skis, I have always thought they were the best I have owned over the years, but the Atlas 80's are "top pick" now!
