Marker Griffon 13 ID
The Marker Griffon 13 is the industry standard for the everyday binding. We use these on all skis we send to ski magazines and testers around the world. Marker's Griffon ID introduces an Anti-Friction Device (AFD) with a greater adjustment range, which is meant to function equally well with Alpine ISO 5355 or Touring ISO 9523 soles. Our skis are engineered to be compatible with any binding on the market. These bindings are the ones we rely on the most.

WTR
What does WTR mean? - This "Walk To Ride” (WTR) is a fancy way of saying these bindings work with every alpine boot in the world. The WTR version of the binding is simply a feature that enables the height of the surface that the toe of your boot sits on to be lowered or raised. Enables the binding to accept "Walk To Ride" (WTR) boots OR standard boots.
Which binding is right for me?
In general, the Marker Griffon 13 bindings are perfect for all but the most aggressive skiers. They're great for cruising groomers, zipping a bump line and trees and bowls. If you're an aggressive skier and find your feet are leaving the ground on any given run (on purpose!) then take a look at the Pivot 14.
Bindings are a personal choice (just like skis) so if you have another preference, you should go for it. Getting a more "advanced" binding never hurts, they just weigh a little more.

The Renoun Team were excellent to deal with. I 'm not an expert on ski 's or what I truly need from them. I do know what I like and how they feel to ski in-on. I couldn 't be more pleased with these ski 's. The help from the Team was very comforting and extremely helpful. So I bought my girls a pair each for their graduation gifts. For me it is a definite upgrade to get on a pair of these ski 's and out in all conditions on the slope. For the days my intermediate ski level would be coming off the slope, I 'm now staying out and enjoying the conditions whatever they are. Carla
