Endurance 98 with Fritschi Vipec Evo 12 binding

After some days on the slopes and off-piste, I'm happy so far: Good-natured ski that moves well in any terrain. Hope the long term quality will meet European standards.

The Endurance replaces my old Powder Equipment Typ B skis (backcountry setup with Marker King Pin 13) which were my faithful companions on my skiing adventures for almost 10 years.

    Ski review

My thoughts after using my Endurance 98s. I bought these skis to suplement my older Nordic Enforcers. I'm 63 and my ski style has change over the years. I still consider myself to be an advanced/expert skier. I wanted a little bit more forgiving and less demandilng ski. I have skied on them over 15 times this season.

    What I like so far:

They're light. Nice on most groomers and softer snow. They are quick into and out of a turn which makes them great in the bumps. I haven't been able to ski much powder, it has been really dry in western Colorado, but the few times I've been happy. They float much better than other skis I've used lately.

    What I'm not crazy about:

Not as stable as I would like at high speed. They were "chattery" on hard snow. I was recently skiing some crisp, steep, groomers, and I really had to focus on the turns. I would have rather had my Enforcers for those conditions.

Overall, I got the skis I wanted and am happy. I hope I'll get some nice powder on my upcoming road trip to Jackson and Sun Valley!

    Great skis

I love the way they turn for me. Just lean a bit and they respond I’ve only skied groomers so far, but there’s pow in the forecast and can’t wait to get in some

    Great for allround telemark setup

I use the Endurance 98 together with Rottafella Freeride NTN telemark bindings and am very happy with this setup. The skis turn easily at low speed, do well in powder, bumps and crud but also are very stable at high speed on groomers. For me the Endurance 98 hits the sweet spot in most conditions. It is a great fit for telemark skiing.

    The Holy Grail

A true front-side one-ski quiver. Skis powder, crud, and groomers with ease. With the new artist graphics in the wings, what more could one want in a ski? I was amazed at how stable these skis were as I let them run - zero chatter.

    Renoun 98

Many comments in lift lines, what are those? I typically explain the technology behind the design. Next question is does it work? My reply is yes they feel very stable and arc like a race ski, they are damp and responsive at the same time. Great all mountain ski with a high quality finish!
